We may request additional information to identify the content.
What Happens Next (Our Takedown Process)
Upon receiving a compliant DMCA notice, PureFantasy will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the identified material;

- Provide the user with information about the counter-notification process.
Where feasible, we may replace the content with a placeholder indicating it was removed pursuant to the DMCA.

Send your counter-notification to: hello@purefantasy.io | Subject line: DMCA Counter-Notice – [Removed Content Reference]
Restoration timeline: If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original claimant. Unless the claimant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain your use of the material, we may restore the content 10–14 business days after forwarding the counter-notice.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms, PureFantasy may terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to remove content and limit access for users who repeatedly submit infringing material or violate our content policies.
Misuse & 17 U.S.C. §512(f) Warning
Submitting false DMCA notices or counter-notices can create liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). Only submit a notice if you have a good-faith belief and the authority to do so.
Non-Copyright Issues
For trademark complaints or right-of-publicity/privacy concerns (e.g., use of a person’s likeness), email hello@purefantasy.io with “Trademark” or “Privacy” in the subject. Provide URLs, screenshots, and the basis of your claim.
Prohibited content (e.g., minors, non-consensual acts) is handled under our Blocked Content Policy; report immediately to hello@purefantasy.io.
Reservation of Rights
PureFantasy may disclose takedown notices to the affected user or to third parties (e.g., the Lumen Database) for transparency. We may also share account information when required by law (e.g., subpoenas). We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time; updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
